3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge – Dies Primus

Hey all! I was nominated for this challenge by The Girl Who Reads so thank you for that 🙂 & you can look at her challenge here. (BTW I love the new layout of your blog). Anyway, this is a pretty easy challenge and on the plus side, I get to show you guys my favorite quotes! Yay!

The Three Rules:

1. Thank the person who nominated you.
2. Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
3. Nominate three new bloggers each day.

“So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

Of course I immediately thought of The Great Gatsby when I received this challenge seeing as that is my favorite book of all time and it has some of the most amazing quotes. ❤ Plus, this is my father’s book and obviously I have to credit my father because like…respect. (F. Scott Fitzgerald is my father and you’re just wrong if you say otherwise.) This quote is the last sentence in the book and I can confidently say that The Great Gatsby has one of the best & most beautiful endings to a novel I’ve ever read.

Nominees:

Amanda’s Book Nook

A Hufflepuff’s Thoughts

(my apologies if you’ve already been nominated for this but the more the merrier!)

Adieu xx

  1. Good quote. I love reading F. Scott Fitzgerald. Coincidentally, I just learned yesterday that that quote is on his and Zelda’s tombstone.
